Margaret BRYMER – Prerogative Court of Canterbury Will – 9 May 1754

In the Name of God Amen

I Margaret Brymer of the parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in

the County of Middlesex Widow being of sound and perfect mind

but weak in body do make and declare this to be my last Will

and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)

As to all the Worldly Estate and Effects of what nature or kind

soever where it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and

bequeath the same unto my loving Son Barnabas Brymer

his heirs and Assigns for Ever And I do hereby nominate and

appoint my said Son Barnabas Brymer Sole Executor of this

my Will revoking all former and other Wills by me heretofore

made In Witness whereof the said Testatrix hath hereunto

set her hand and Seal this twenty first day of March in the

Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty four

Margaret Brymer Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the

said Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the

presence of us who in her presence and in the presence of

each other have subscribed our Names S. Swaine John Dennison

 

This Will was proved at London the ninth day of May

in the Year of our Lord one thousand and seven hundred and fifty

four before the Worshipfull Andrew Cottee Ducarel Doctor of

Law Surrogate of the Right Honourable Sir George Lee

Knight also Doctor of Law Master Keeper or Commissary of the

Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the

Oath of Barnabas Brymer the Son of the deceased and Sole

Executor named in the said Will To whom Administration was

granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the

said deceased being first Sworn duly to administer
